1. In auto proportions mode, the scale factor is not modifiable. Could it be made modifiable ?

2. In auto proportions mode, if user wants to change scale factor, the mode must be changed to Custom. Could PWP behave such that that sliding the Scale Factor marker automatically switches to Custom proportions ?

3. In auto proportions mode, the proportions scale is hidden. Could proportion values and the slider be made visible like the scale factor ?

4. In auto proportions mode, assuming item 3 is implemented, if user wants to change the proportions, could PWP behave such that that sliding the proportions marker automatically switches to Custom proportions ?

To make the scale change the output image size, use the Settings Menu and select: Lock Scale, Vary Output Image Size. The other setting lets you set the output image size directly using the edit controls.

Could PWP still display the proportions slider in auto proportions, so that that sliding the proportions marker would automatically switch to Custom proportions ?

Another change could be useful for affordance and ease of use : the drop-down box for proportions and the settings pair "Lock Scale, Vary Output Image Size" and "Lock Output Image Size, Vary Scale" could be replaced with check boxes labeled "Auto", as illustrated below :
