Suggestion : using Color Patches in transformation controls

It would be convenient to allow creating or modifying transformation curves, selective color correction transformations, and other transformations, by introducing a method for referencing the Color Palette and its color patches.

For example in a color curve transformation, to create a new point, it would be possible to set the value along the curve ( x and y ) by setting either x or y or both according to color patch values. This would be possible in any RGB, HSL, or HSV coordinates.

For example, the hue curve in the color curve transformation could have a point x1 y1 defined such that x1 is the hue of a certain color patch and y1 is the hue of a different color patch.

A mechanism for updating an existing point of a curve would allow referencing the color palette. This could be enabled via a right-click menu on an existing point.

This mechanism could also work with relative coordinates such as in conditional curves transformation.

A similar mechanism would allow creating a color shift vector in the selective color correction transformation.
