Zoomin with Display Preview ON

There seems to be inconsistency with some transformations when zooming with mouse wheel and Display Preview On.
for example:
1. open Monochrome - the Convert tab and split screen preview are On as default - you can use mouse wheel to zoom in and out
2. switch to the Display Preview - cannot zoom unless you press the Alt tab at the same time
3. go either to the Curve or Tint tabs tabs - you can zoom in both of them without Alt key
4. go back to the Convert tab - now you can zoom too without Alt key
The same happens with the Texture tab when you go directly to it after opening the transformation.
Warp, Composite, Level and probably some others show the same behaviour - you need Alt key only with the Display Preview On.
Others like for example Resize and Dehaze do not need Alt key with the Display Preview On.
I am aware of transformations or tools which primarily use the mouse wheel diferently, so Alt key IS necessary for zooming.
