When creating a grid, it would be nice if a user could simply state :

• the desired array organization ( number of columns and rows ),
• the desired margins ( all equal / all equal except bottom / all individually specified )

... and the transformation would then derive the physical and pixel dimensions for each sub panel.

There is a 'Create Grid' button (rightmost) which may already do what you suggested.

Yes, this feature request would change how this button operates.
