Once Precise Gaussion begins, it ignores the cancel button until it is finished. This can be inconvenient if the blurring operation is going to take a while.

You can actually cancel, but due to some strange Windows behavior that I have never been able to figure out, you may need to click the Cancel button more than once to get it to be recognized.

It looks like you need to click twice in rapid succession to get it to respond.

For the next release I was able to implement a workaround to make clicking Cancel work on the first click. As before, there can be a brief delay before it takes effect since it needs to wait for the progress bar to advance. Thanks for prodding me to revisit this as I have spent hours over the years trying to figure out why it wasn't working on the first click. I ended up simulating the Cancel button instead of using a real button.
