Oval gradient tool : retangular type

The oval gradient tool generates gradients that are uneven along parallels to the sides of the rectangle.

Would it be possible to make a gradient that has invariant intensity along the sides of any similar and centered inner rectangle ?

This is a well-known optical illusion.
