By a strange coincidence, I noticed the display problems a couple of days ago and have already fixed this for the next release. The grid now aligns with the image and all the pixels in the image are now displayed.

There do seem to be some residual misalignments between the readout and other tools and individual pixels, but I will try to track them down before the next release. Generally PWP is not designed with an eye to editing individual pixels, so I have not paid a lot of attention to this detail until now, but I agree it should work better than it does.

Actually, whan asking for an 8x8 grid : only 7x7 grid is displayed. See screen capture below :
