I'm trying to understand what exactly is saved or not saved in Color Curves and also how changing Color model resets/not resets curves in other models.
In Color Curves, there is at least three ways of saving the settings, which I understand as follows:
1) Settings (top button)/Save Settings As will save all the transformation info, including the 3 curve shapes for the current color model in a file.color curves
2) Settings (top button)/Save Color Curves will save the curves for all 3 channels of the current color model, but not other transformation settings in a file.cc
3) Settings (Curves control button)/Save As will save the currently displayed curve, which can be then applied to any channel or elsewhere in file.curve
Also, when switching the color model between HSL and HSV, the 3 curves for corresponding channels are retained. If I switch from HSL/HSV to RGB, the V or L curve is than applied to all RGB channels (as the Hue curve is circular and has a different interpretation thus can't be retained in RGB). If I switch from RGB to HSL/HSV color model, the Blue curve, being the last letter in the color model curves, becomes either L or V channel and the H and S channels are reset.
Do I get it right?

1-3 are correct.
One could argue that when switching between RGB and HSV/HSL the curves should be reset since there is no logical correspondence between the channels.
