Layout Cancel discrepancy

version 8.0.76

1. Open Layout, load an image into a panel and position it.
2. Click Cancel and when Confirm box pops up, choose not to Abandon changes to settings.
3. Click Layout OK -> the transformation closes but the panel is empty.
