Preferences

Just a curiosity thing.

If I uninstall PWP, then download the latest version, all the preference settings and prior settings for some operations (specifically, in this case, Line and Arrow) are transferred to the newest version. Presumably these settings are (temporarily) held somewhere and accessed by the latest download?

If that's the case, as it seems it is, are those settings still available if the computer is shut down between the uninstall and download?

Preferences are stored in a preferences file on your hard drive.

To location is:

C:\Users\<user name>\AppData\Local\Picture Window Pro\Preferences\Settings.preferences

Since this file is not installed as part of the installer process, it should remain untouched by uninstall.
