batch files & navigation issues

Hello.
15 Feb, 16 Feb: Back to workspace script to adjust & resize multiple images. Course I've totally forgotten how it works. And today there is a new v48 with workspace changes. So I load up current version.
18) When open WS script, then add multiple files, perhaps open the 'batch file open' dialog at same time?
19) When editing a single image, then this 'batch file open' dlg can be used to open a file or files (but why would user not use the menu | file open command? because it closes original image, see #22) it really seems to be more useful to select images for the batch. If a user is editing a single image, what functionality does this dlg add? Perhaps rename to something more descriptive?
20) Open multiple files then use [Select Files] button on the 'batch file open' dlg to switch current file, as suggested in help file tips, crashes PW. That is, select a file that is already included in the dialog. But - try again a day later - now selected file opens in new 'batch file open' dlg. Next try = crash. Help file tips says this button changes (switches) current file, but then it says it selects new files - which is it? Or should it do both?
21) menu | file close not working here. Close all does close image(s).
22) Open single image, then File | Open a second image. This closes first image with no warning? Oh, wait it is still there. BUT - first image does not show up in the 'batch file open' dialog when double click on second image. Should it? Else how to change images? It seems I need to close image #2 to return to image #1, is this correct?
Thx, Bob
