An update is available to Version 8.0.43 (30-Jan-2020)
The changes (taken from the update log) are:
Fixed problem causing a crash after closing a transformation dialog box while a mask dialog box was open.
Fixed problem that could cause a crash when closing an image if it was the only one.
Removed Del keyboard shortcut (conflicted with edit controls).
Removed Ctrl-A and Ctrl-Q keyboard shortcuts. Enter and Esc now work instead. (Ctrl-A conflicted with edit controls).
Fixed problem of image bit depth display being invisible or hard to read for black and white images if the border color was set to white or a very light color.
Crop: fixed problem with margin readouts not being updated after clicking one of the buttons in the tool bar at the top right of the dialog box.
If Autosave is enabled (recommended), the workspace is not only saved on OK or Apply, but is also saved just before closing an image or just before clearing the workspace. This provides a recovery method if you close images by accident. Up to four recent autosave files are now kept alongside Autosave.workspace to provide extra insurance. The files are named Autosave1.workspace ... Autosave4.workspace (from most recent to least recent).
