Reading individual image scripts in batch

If images are processed and saved along with their script sidecar files, when I load those output files again and run them in batch again, would each of the images read its corresponding script file and adjust the transformation settings accordingly?

If you load the script file you rebuild the image from its history. If you load the image file you just get the image.
