Sliders...

I have a comment on the sliders as they currently are. Since the effect is not dynamic and only applied when you let go of the slider I find I am clicking over a bar at a time rather than dragging them and then doing a lot of back and forth. I wondered if there was any thoughts of accel keys with the arrows x5 x10 key for increments with arrow keys and or scrolling with the mouse wheel as the image would update if you paused scrolling...and finally going back to 0 or the default starting value would be a nice feature with say an X to the right of the slider that would reset that slider...sometimes its nice to assess the impact of one slider in a multi slider transform by applying something and removing it back to zero or starting value....right now you have to go up to the gear icon to do the reset I think....I may have missed ways to do some or all of this but I think if not the sliders could be made a bit more functional......

There is no easy way to do keyboard accelerators within sliders, I could make them update automatically if you pause for some length of time, sort of like keyboard input. This does not seem to add any real value however, because instead of pausing, you could just release the mouse button and get the same result faster.
You probably already know this, but holding down the shift key lets you make 10X finer adjustments to sliders when you drag them.
Some kind of slider reset (maybe by a right button popup menu) might be a nice feature, although it's not necessarily clear what you would reset them to.

I think reset to default which in most cases is zero would be useful....you sometimes have those options up in the gear icon but having an x at the end of the slider or allowing a double click on the label or slider would be way more convenient....so for example lets say the color and levels transform...so because the transform is not real time I find the best way is to incrementally click until I get to where I want...so then lets say I do some contrast and then some other changes. Then if the image is not going exactly as I imagined then to see what the contrast that I added is doing since I applied it first it might be nice to just hit an x or double click to set it to zero and then further tweak or return it back.....even just getting back to zero...esp with the scale on sliders where zero is in the middle i am often taking a longer look or making several clicks to hit the zero...I have been using Darktable quite a bit over the past year. I think they have provided the ultimate slider control. First you can scroll with the mouse wheel and then accelerate that by holding shift. This is really nice for dialing in amounts. Second if you right click the slider you can enter an amount from the keyboard and finally right clicking also brings up a whisker for lack of a better word the whisker is attached to the slider and the farther you are away from the slider draggin on whisker the more precise it is and the closer up to the point where you are on the slider is for more gross changes...its quite ingenious....

Section 3.2.2.1 of the link shows a pic....I think a double click reset or button at the end of the slider would be nice and optionally the ability to enter a value could be nice. Scrolling with the wheel are extras but again I do like to scroll the wheel and then watch the image...I don't have t take my eyes off the main image to look at the slider to grab it or click it on a spot.....no complaints at all on my end I think you have crafted a great program just making a potential suggestion

Given the potential usefulness, I'll add it to the list, but given the amount of work it would take to retrofit, it's not too near the top.
