Bypassing some geometry transformations

The following relates to Preferences setting: Zoom current image to fit
Bypass the Level or Crop transformation -> its preview shrinks considerably
This also sometimes happen with the Warp transformation. I have not found out exactly when, but it seems that other geometry transformations upstream may play some role,
Another situation is with Resize:
Resize the image bigger:
Bypass ON -> preview shrinks
Resize the image smaller:
Bypass ON -> preview expands larger then the preview window showing only crop of the image
I have not tried out other geometry transformations,

In my opinion, since it is always about the current image, I would expect it to fit the preview window as the Preferences setting suggests. Unless, of course, I did not get it quite right.
