use a portrait oriented image
1. set Base Size On to Image Size (or any of the first three ..Image.. options)
2. change Base Size On to any of the last three ..Size.. options -> the preview displays contents of the cropping rectangle (Landscape by default)
3. set Base Size On back to Image Size (or any of ..Image.. options) -> the cropping rectangle resets to full and encompasses the whole image,
however the preview stays landscape oriented, it shows the whole image but distorted by the previous cropping rectangle proportions
4. To get back the original non distorted preview you need to repeat the step 3 and choose another one of the ..Image.. options to refresh the preview proportions.
------
The situation is similar with a landscape oriented image.
In the step 3 the cropping rectangle encompasses the whole input image, but the preview gets distorted by the previous cropping rectangle if the proportions of the input image and the cropping rectangle were different.
----
In my opinion, when you set Base Size On back to Image Size (or the other two), it should reset the cropping rectangle to full size and refresh the preview proportions accorgingly in one step.
Sorry, if I got it wrong.

One more comment.
It is not very important, but would it be possible for the transformation to read the input image orientation and set the cropping rectangle acordingly instead of having it hard wired as landscape?
