Is it possible to download and read just the help document for PWP 8?
Occasionally I find it necessary to draw simple objects on images. The only way I have been able to do this in PWP 7 is a pretty complicated pathway. Is it possible that in PWP 8 most of the tools that are available in the Mask tool for drawing masks could be adapted to be used for drawing?

The easiest way to draw with a mask is to use it with the Composite transformation to overlay a solid color of your choice on the base image only where the mask is white. Just set the Overlay to the solid color and the mask as the Amount mask. This technique works for PWP 7 as well.

If you download the PWP installer (most of which is the help file) and install PWP 8, you should be able to create a link to the help file which is in the folder PWP is installed to, with the name: Picture Window Pro.chm.

Assuming you install in the default location, the pathname is:

C:\Program Files\Digital Light & Color\Picture Window Pro 8\Picture Window Pro.chm

Double-clicking on this file will open the help.
