Color balance Auto - Full Range vs. Custom

1.Open Color balance and the Add color to a custom one -> the White control is automatically changed from Auto to Auto - Full Range. (I would expect it to change to Custom.)
2.Let it as it is and click OK. The output now has the color cast you added
3.Reopen the transformation dialog. The Add color patch is white but the output still has the color cast.
Click anywhere in the dialog -> the color cast gets cleared of the output.
