Problems Downloading White Papers

In the Tools & Tansformations section, I can download
HDR/Stack Images and
Using the Advanced Sharpen Transformation
OK, but when I try to download
Sharpening Images, 100 KB or 101 KB comes down and the download quits. When the result is opened with Adobe Reader 9.2, the following message comes back:
- Adobe Message.JPG (14.62 KiB) Viewed 4927 times
.
I cannot download
Color Balance as well. Also,
Sharpening Images is listed twice on the page and neither will download.
Thanks,
Jim

Jim,
I was able to download both papers with no problem. So the files themselves are not corrupted.
I have occassionally had bad downloads as you described. They seem to be caused by a problem in the particular download quitting prematurally. This seems to happen randomly perhaps because of a problem in some portion of the internet path timing out. It is not caused by a problem with the file itself. The only solution I know is to delete the incomplete download and try downloading again. It generally works the second time.
I do see that Sharpen is listed twice. Thanks for pointing that out.

Thanks for your reply. I have tried to download Sharpening Images several times on two different computers with the same result every time. I do delete the bad downloads before trying again. Not sure what to try next.

(1) Try doing a 'right mouse click' on the white paper download link and a "Save Target As" rather than a normal 'left mouse click'.
(2) If you are placing the *.pdf white paper files in the c:/Program Files/Digital Light and Color/Picture Window Pro 5.0/Doc folder so that they may be opened from the program electronic manual... any of the *.pdf file names that have more than one word must be separated by a 'space' rather than a '_' or '%' character.

Jim,
I have e-mailed the paper to you.
Incidentally, for those who would rather not download, all the whte papers are also available on the Pictre Window CD.

Thanks much for your help.
Den:
I do use a right click to save and have also tried directly opening the pdf rather than downloading it and it still does not work. At this point, it must be something local on my machines for some White Papers to download and not others. I will try some other options when time permits. Thanks.
