Some countrys have a decimal comma and other a decimal point. Some use a point to mark every 1000 of a number, others use a comma.
If i.e. the left margin is 999 and I adjust it with 2 click to 1001 I see for a short moment a value of 1.001 which is truncated to 1. The point is interpreted as a decimal point ... which creates the problem.

I could make the decimal point character depend on the locale, but this would make it complicated to exchange script files between US and European users.
