Digital Light & Color

Since I do a lot of retouching of repros from old slides an b/w- and color-negatives, I really like this two new tools.
Just curious if there is a technical reason for having two tools instead just one.

I have on my list to combine the tools at some indefinite time in the future. The user interfaces and internals of the two are somewhat different. It would also be nice to be able to remove curved scratches.
