It seems that the input thumbnail toggle button, which cannot be toggled (is always white), switches on/off the toggle property of the output thumbnail.

If this is intended, is it needed? If you accidentaly click the input toggle button (while the output is toggled gray), you cannot toggle the output image between Before and After. Perhaps the input image toggle button could be disabled or locked?

To simulate it follow these steps:

1. Open an image
2. Run a trasformation (e.g. Color Balance) and click OK
You can switch the output thumbnail between Before and After previews using the toggle button

3. Switch the output thumbnail to the Before preview - gray toggle button
4. Click on the toggle button of the input thumbnail (button stays white)
Now, if you toggle the output thumbnail button, nothing happens

5. Toggle the output thumbnail button to make it white
6. Click the toggle button of the input thumbnail (it stays white)
Now you can toggle the output thumbnail again

7. You also may need to click somewhere inside the output thumbnail to restart synchronized toggling with the output preview in the image area

Clicking on the bypass button for the File Open is not supposed to do anything since there is no before and after for a file open operation. This has been fixed for the next release.
