OT: If there is an interest, I can illustrate/describe a way where one can use SNS-HDR's 'dcraw.exe', PWP, and the Vista desktop as a 'dcraw' GUI/analyzer... 'dcraw' is rather elequent in its simplicty...
Hello Den, please post your findings using draw.exe, PWP and the desktop als GUI/analyzer.
A Happy New Year

One can deduce from the existence of the above thread that I am not the only PWP user who would like the program to include 16 bit tone mapping as well as better HDR and alignment capabilities.
I'm not too sure.
I think that I favour PWP being the best available tool for what it does best.
And to offer a range of other facilities for convenience.
To be the best at everything???
At present I (as a amateur) use:
EyeFi to 'capture' files.
Fast Picture Viewer for triage
Geosetter for GPS (using data from my phone)
cPicture for general viewing and other housekeeping duties
Silkpix to go from RAW to TiFF (it does some lens corrections automatically along the way)
PWP for pretty much all image manipulation.
SNS-HDR for bracketed exposures
PWP for printing.

Ok, I release what I currently have in the middle of the next week. When I fix saving images and remove duplicate interface elements.
Changes are coming to SNS-HDR from version 1.4.22... ...the following pdf is a summary of currently available freeware [SNS-HDR Lite] that when utilized with the editing features of PWP can produce extraordinary automatic image blended/tone-mapped versions of multiple or single exposure image sets...
