Is RAW processing multithreaded?

I processed a RAW file, same sidecar, on an AMD E-450 dual-core processor (no hyperthreading) with # of threads set to 1 then 2 and timed it. Both were identical (at 46sec for 10Mp file, which is not impressive, but not unexpected with sharpening and other adjustments). I didn't expect no-difference.

Raw processing was not rewritten to take advantage of multiple cores in this release. Most but not all transformations and a number of other operations were rewritten.
