BTW, the "or the computer is going in the bin" comment was a bit tongue in cheek!!

Well, today was garbage pickup day here (the waste separation instructions for us residents barely fit one page page of very fine print), and there is always a fair amount of electronic waste waiting on the sidewalks for the special pickup--I was being a bit literal-minded, I suppose!

Not sure where "here" is, but over here (southwest British Columbia), we have six different containers in the home (regular garbage, green waste including table scraps, flat cardboard, plastics, returnable cans, glass) and have to put out three separate garbage bins to the curb. Added to that, we have to take the glass to its own facility and the electronics to yet a different facility! Not complaining however.
