Ok, I think I know how to replicate the disappearing file list:
- Test the batch. Skip a few files
- Click OK in File Open
- Clicking on Terminate Batch Process in Batch Process has no effect other than greying the button
- Click on Stop in Batch Image window, which terminates the batch process, but also removes all the files from the Open File list

p.s. Actually, there is no need for skipping files. If I click on OK in File Open and then Stop in Batch Image window, the same thing happens

And here is an interesting screen shot:

When the Open File list was cleared, I clicked OK in the File Open anyway, getting the error in the Change Profile transformation. So I repopulated the list, but the error remains.

The Batch Image window is a modal dialog box that is displayed only when PWP needs you to choose what to do. It disappears when you click one of the buttons and then re-appears as necessary. It was supposed to be impossible to click any controls outside the window, but I did not properly disable the other windows -- which I have fixed for the next release. To avoid problems, when you see the Batch Image dialog box, just click one of its buttons and leave the other windows alone.

I also fixed problems with breakpoints and File Export.
