Unfortunately the problem here is that whoever wrote the JPEG encoder for WIC seems to have placed a limit on the amount of metadata the file can contain, regardless of how it is formatted. There may be a workaround for this and there are other features of WIC I have not incorporated such as progress indicators when reading and writing.
