1. load an image
2. go to Amount square, choose New mask
3. in the mask dialog choose Curve
4. do nothing just close the mask dialog
5. go to Amount square, choose Edit
6. choose Curve -> it is Stair step shaped without outer points
7. reset the Curve, close the mask dialog
8. repeat steps 5 and 6 -> again Stair step shaped without outer points
9. reset the the curve and the mask
10.repeat 5 and 6 -> the Curve is OK
11. close the mask dialog and repeat 8 -> again Stair step etc.
12. even if you use the Reset command in the Amount dialog square the curve finally shows Stair step shaped
The Curve seems to have its defaut diagonal shape only on the first opening of the mask. Even if the Curve is not used on the first opening.
------
And the next one:
If you apply the mask Curve and you want to continue with some of the drawing tools (Rectangle, etc.) you have to
either:
first click the Mask thumbnail,
or
the transformation dialog and then the mask dialog.
Only then the cursor hand changes to the hair cross.
Another two mask observations

Re: Another two mask observations
I have fixed the first problem for the next release.
The second issue occurs because the curve control in the mask dialog takes over the probe so you need to click on the mask dialog to get it back.
