Sometimes a save jpg just contains the script

In differnent situation I observe the situation that a was not able to save a jpg, but just a small file.
Opening this file with an editor (Notepad++) showes something like the script.
Saving as a tif works fine. I am not able to reproduce this. Sorry
I renamed thte jpg to zip for upload reasons

It does look like a JPEG with just the script in it, but I have no idea how that could happen.

Can you take a screen capture of your JPEG settings from File Preferences?

Here are my Jpeg-settings and
the script saved (renamed again to zip)
But running the script produces a crash of the program.

I can't reproduce it here either - if it happens again, try to save a copy of the file you were saving if you can.
