If you want to share an album with non-PWP users or view it on a tablet, you can convert the album to Acrobat PDF. PDF is also a good archiving format.
To convert it, you need to have a PDF printer driver. Then print the album using the PDF driver -- it will print to a file rather than produce hard copy. You can get a PDF driver from Adobe as part of one of their PDF editing packages. There are also many third party drivers which are generally cheaper. I use a driver made by Bullzip (http://www.bullzip.com/products/pdf/info.php).
Once you have converted to a PDF, email it as an attachment or transfer it to your tablet computer as you would any file.
Incidentally this is described in the Picture Window Manual, on pg. 340 in the current (8/13/13) version.

Re: Converting PWP Albums to Acrobat PDF
FYI...
If you have used "H&R Block" for US Federal Tax returns for 2011 or 2012, there is an option to "Install PDF Printer" in its setup... ...places "PDF995" in the Control Panel's printer folder [Windows Vista] making it a selectable printer option.
Have not tested for its use as Kiril suggests...

For a review of free PDF printers, see:

I've used PrimoPDF for years:
http://www.primopdf.com/
There is another tiny (140kB) portable image to PDF converter that doesn't require any driver installation and has some neat capabilities (such as adjusting PDF page size to image size and margin control). I haven't fully tested it yet, but I already like it for its size and explicit JPG compression control (if someone tests it more thoroughly, could you you please commet). This is a bit different from what Kiril suggested (you can't use PWP album as you would with PDF printer drivers - instead you need to start from TIFF/JPG images). Also, I'm not sure if you can print multiple images on one PDF page in any arrangement like PWP Album can.
