Probably like most other people, I've browsed through several colour science books and articles trying to improve my photography and image processing (and to understand better what others are talking about on PWP forum).
This book covers familiar range of topics, from colorimetry to colour spaces, but on top of being quite readable, it puts human vision front and centre, without shortchanging on technicalities
Digital Color Management: Encoding Solutions, Second Edition, Edward J. Giorgianni and Thomas E. Madden
© 2008 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd. ISBN: 978-0-470-51244-9
Even if you've heard of or/and understand the concepts, it's a good refresher.
