Workflow file - saving this as the default
Is there a way to have the save-as dialog come up with the option to save the workflow file as the default, with the workflow default filename prefix the same as that of the default image filename?
Re: Workflow file - saving this as the default
Actually the workflow filename should not include the extension of the output image. The workflow filename is derived from the input image file name plus the wfl extension. The reason is that the workflow must be applied to the input file, not the output file. Also, the workflow file is stored in the same folder as the input file, even if the output file is stored in some other folder. This way when you open the input file again at a later time the workflow file can be properly associated with it. If the workflow file name were derived from the output file name, the association with the original image would be lost.

I see. Thanks.
Now is there a way I can make the save-as dialog always come up with the save-workflow-file option checked?

I believe the default is not checked, so you will have to check it. However once you do the filenames are entered automatically.
