OK, this is probably a really weird request. I'm working on an image and have two branches of edits I'm playing with.
In one of the branches I did a tricky cloning operation. I then realized that cloning operation would work great in the other branch.
Is there a way to copy a transform from one branch into the other? Something like click on the 'source' transform to copy it, then click of some sort to put the copy in the other branch.
Thoughts?

Yes there is. For details, look in the help file under Image Browser and scroll down to Rearranging the Image Tree. Basically you can select one or more transformations that are all on the same branch and then copy them to just after the current transformation. Selection is done by ctrl- or shift-click on the transformations you want to copy. The copy command is on one of the image browser's tool bars.

There's also the "Reload Last Settings" option from within the Clone (or other) Transformation's gear menu, that will replicate the Cloning steps on another image.

Assuming you haven't done any other cloning in the meantime.

Re: Copying a transform from one branch to another
Thanks for pointing me to the help file and giving me the hints. It did exactly what I want.
Out of curiosity, what if the images in the two branches are different sizes? Does the copy complain?
Thanks!

The copied clone transformation will give you a warning that the input image size has changed. If you continue, cloning occurs in the same relative locations in the new image.
