Hello,
I tried playing around with the "Roughness Type" option in the Add Border transformation, and find that it introduces a sharp white line into the image, running diagonally up from the bottom left corner. Doesn't seem to matter which type is chosen, or what the amount and scale sliders are set to.
The length of the line increases as you press the Randomize Outline (running man) button.
The line disappears if the softness amount is increased beyond 0, but then re-appears if you hit randomize a number of times...

I am not able to reproduce this here. Can you supply more details - type of input image, dimensions of input image, settings, etc.?

Re: Add Border - Roughness
Seems to be more apparent on smaller image sizes... In addition to the diagonal white lines, there also seem to be some other strange artifacts down in the lower left corner...
Re: Add Border - Roughness
OK thanks, I see it now.
There seems to be a problem with the lower left corner of a Rectangular border with roughness. Choosing Rounded with a small corner radius fixes the problem as a temporary workaround until I have a permanent fix.

Re: Add Border - Roughness
That's good news, thank you.
Re: Add Border - Roughness
Ah, odd and even image dimensions... I can confirm that it now works without artifacts as intended.
Thank you.
Thank you.
