suggestion for the Cropping transformation

Referring to the rightmost tool in the Crop Box Toolbar :

The tooltip help is "Shrink crop box to match current view" and the help states "sets the cropping rectangle to match the currently zoomed and scrolled view of the input image"

Would it be possible to tweak the behavior so that the crop box rotation angle is not affected, and the crop box endpoints match the edge of the input image, that is : no resetting of the cropping rotation angle, and applying either shrinking or stretching.

Benefit : this would eliminate the guesswork of positioning the cropping rectangle corner endpoints with the image border.
