Suggestions for the filetype filter in File Open
1. It would be convenient to include *.dng in the list of filetypes.
2. When enabled, filetype RAW should filter out all non-raw filetypes, such as jpg, tif, png, etc. It should only let through the actual raw types such as those from Nikon, Canon, Fuji, Sony, Olympus etc.

Re: file open - filetype RAW (*.*)
There are cases (mostly raw files from very old cameras) where the raw file has a normal extension such as TIF. DNG can be read as a raw file.

Re: file open - filetype RAW (*.*)
Generally I store in the same folder several format images: TIF, jpg, DNG and the original canera raw format ( e.g. NEF, CR3, RAF ... ). The DNGs are for example created by DxO Photolab with optical corrections, the TIF files are used for inter-application communication (e.g. Nik collection invoked from DxO Photolab).
When I select RAW for searching in a Nikon-camera image folder, then all image files including jpg, TIF, show up when in fact I would like to see NEF files only.
Since dng is so common and is promoted as a generic image data container, dng should have a specific entry in the extensions list.
The suggestion is to have an entry for "other RAW formats" -- which would let through original canera raw format ( e.g. NEF, CR3, RAF ... ). This filter would exclude TIF and DNG since these two would have their own entry in the list of filters.
