layered scans

Post by lchavel »

Hello.

I will be giving a negative in to the photolab for a high resolution scan. The file they return has a layer containing spotting and contrast adjustment. This, obviously, assumes photoshop. How would I deal with the file in PWP? I never used photoshop, only PWP.

Thanks,

Isaac

PWP does not open Photoshop PSD files. You could ask the lab to give you two TIFF files instead - one with the original data and one with the edited data.

At the risk of suggesting the obvious, if the lab is not willing to do that, put convert psd tif into a search engine. It will return links to several conversion programs.
