Levels and Colour

Looked for this in Help, but couldn't find it.

Is there a way to change L and C so Auto White Balance is not the default choice? I prefer having no Colour Balance in play when I use L and C. I tried changing it to Custom and closing the Dialogue, but Auto shows when it is re-opened.

To change the default, first change to Custom and presumably set the color to white as you already tried. Then, click on the Settings icon to get the settings menu and select Save as Default Settings. Save as Default Settings lets you customize the default settings for any transformation.
