Re: ProPhoto for RAW-Output
My understanding of colorspace and RAW files was that one should use a "as big as possible" colorspace, i.e. ProPhoto to be able to contain the full gamut of the camera, and then of course the same huge colorspace as woriking colorspace, and of course 16 bit because of the risk of banding...

Re: ProPhoto for RAW-Output
Hmm, as I do not use PWP as a raw converter but only for some retouching work I am a bit puzzled here. Why would anyone use anything else but ProPhoto (or linear variants of it) for handling the output of the raw conversion? DSLRs have such a wide gamut that most of the other profiles are to small t...

Maximize maximizes too much....
When I have all images minimized in PWP and work on a layout transform, I can not minimize PWP and then maximize it without the images also getting maximized which results in extremely annoying clutter (in this case suddenly nine overlapping windows that obscure the layout transform). Minimizing and...

Re: Layout feature
It's a workaround, but still not very efficient. And having to do it in inches makes it even more annoying, I'd love to see more control over panel sizes within the tool.

Re: UI fonts mushy on 30" screen
Yup, I never had any issues on my 21". But I found the reason... Microsoft insist that every screen is 96PPI no matter what the actual value is. If you use the adjustment tool to tell it the real DPI value by dragging an on-screen ruler to match a real ruler, UI fonts get scaled. Works quite fi...

Re: UI fonts mushy on 30" screen
Of course I use the native resolution, why else would I get a 30"? ;-) I tried ClearType on or off, Font Smoothing on or off. No change in PWP. Font smoothing off did make a change for some other apps. Some apps do have decent UI font display, some don't, as shown in the screenshot. Unfortunate...

File association selection at install
When installing PWP 7 it wants to associate as the default handler with various file types.
There is no easy way to toggle all of them which makes turning all of them off but one or two a bit annoying.
