Hi Marv,
Are you saying Tiff images saved with PWP won't open later in PWP? Or were the Tiff images saved by one of your other programs? I'm wondering whether one of your other programs is saving a slightly different type of Tiff file that PWP doesn't recognize.

The sky in the picture of the tugboat is amazing, and thanks for the helpful information. I checked the sns-hdr web site and version 1.3.9 was released a few days ago.After/Before comparison image link: http://www.ncplus.net/~birchbay/11/IMAG ... _11_98.htm

Raw Conversion and Efficiency
If I open one of Nikon's NEF files and edit it, can I just save the workflow? It seems it would be more efficient - in terms of hard drive space - to just save the original raw file and the workflow rather than a 48 bit TIFF.
Thanks,
Cliff

Good answer Charles. I'm glad you replied, because I was beginning to worry that I had killed this thread.

Re: Using hue curve to "get the green out of yellows"
I'm still a newbie, but I would have approached the problem from a different direction. I would simply have put a gray card or a Q-13 card in the scene and used either the Color-Balance or the Color-Match Reference transform. Otherwise I would have used the rocks as a neutral gray. I know you all kn...

Re: Grey skies to blue
Thanks for the lesson, den. I followed the directions, but I made the sky a little bluer.

Re: Grey skies to blue
I wish I could edit the previous post. After working with the Color Curves transform for awhile, I now think it's easier to adjust Hue and possibly Saturation using the Color Correction transform.

Re: Grey skies to blue
Hi Mike, I'm still new to PWP, but the Color Curves transform has become a very important tool for me. It gives extreme control over the HSV channels. Everyone uses the values curve, but I wonder how many people use the saturation and hue curves. For example, after masking a face you can use this to...
