Blur-Gaussian-Previev issues
Hi all, In Blur - Gaussian the previev seems not to work correctly. I open a image, open Blur - Gaussian, set the Previev mode either to Preview or Input/ Preview. When I change the ammout slider I would expect the preview to change. The image in the transformation does change, the final image does ...

Re: PWP 8 Progress Update
Jonathan, Thank you for sharing the documents, they really make appetite to lay hands on the new version. When browsing through the document I noticed that you seem to have dropped the calendar transformation? Should be no big deal to keep an older version on the computer as it is used once a year u...

Re: Inverting Tones in a B and W image
Marv, You can always convert a 16 bit Black and white image to a 48 bit colour image without degredation of quality. The colour image just takes 3 times the space im memory, in a 16 bit BW image every pixel is represented as just one value, in a 48 bit image with 3 identical values for R, G and B. I...

Re: How to crop
Chris, I do such tasks like this: First I crop to the size visible by the passe-partout, 13 x 8.6 in your case, with a 1 to 2 mm oversize, depending on the size of the image and the quality and tolerances of the frame and passe-partout. From now on it can go in a workflow: I resize the image to the ...

Re: Layout Transform
Marv, But you can only compare the quality if you know what method is used by Layout. If your specific image rescaled to your specific size has a (visible) better quality using a resampling method other then bilinear you should probably resize in an extra step. Expanding the range on a absolute diff...

Re: Layout Transform
Jonathan, what resampling method is used in Layout ?
Marv, if you want to compare the resizing in Layout with Resize you should use the same resampling-method in both cases.
If different methods are used in Layout and Resize minor differences would be normal.

Re: DL-C.COM Maintenance
Jonathan,
The website looks ok now, but I didn't do any further testing.
The link to DoF works fine, I downloaded and installed the latest version yesterday morning.
