Re: Masking
For spatial restrictions, perhaps you could use the mask transformation, with the AND (&) operation where one of the masks is a spatial restriction. Excerpt from the manual : "One of the limits of Amount controls is that you can only have one mask per image. If you need to make more than on...

Re: Hue Saturation transformation: Hue Change range : slider concept
Hello, For usability and flexibility, a slider with a data entry box allow the user to enter specific values ( perhaps exceeding the visible scale of the slider ). Thus, it would be possible to enter values in the range -180 +180 even if the visible part of the slider displays a range of -90 +90. Se...

Re: Update Available - Version 8.0.270
An update is available to Version 8.0.270(24-Jan-2022) The changes (taken from the update log) are: Hue Saturation Transformation: added a brightness histogram and range slider so you can select colors based on brightness in addition to hue/saturation. Also added a button to compute both histograms...

Hue saturation transform - more possibilities
Could it be feasible to add uniformity controls to the transform ? It would conceptually work as follows : Consider the bins selected in the histogram The center of gravity (CoG) of the histogram measurements in selected bin defines the average hue-saturation of the selection A vector from the CoG t...

Re: Hue Saturation transformation: Hue Change range
For creative effects, colors could be substituted all the way to their opposite, e.g. red to cyan.
In the hue slider, as currently implemented, small shifts are easily adjusted by holding the shift key.

problem : the range is currently +/- 90 degrees.Hue Saturation transformation: Hue Change readout is now in degrees instead of percent.

Hue saturation transform : fantastic ! and a request
The new hue transformation transform is very useful, and a better substitute to "color contrast range". Suggestions: Replace the % hue control with a hue shift control in angular degrees. hue shift control : Displays the color mapping using full saturation hues organized as two concentric ...

Re: Mobius transformation : a step towards "contrast color range" ?
I can think of a couple of ways you can achieve this effect in PWP currently: 1) Use Conditional Color Curves to lighten and/or darken selectable hue ranges. 2) Use Selective Color Correction to select colors by hue and saturation and adjust their brightness -- you can also change their hue and sat...

Mobius transformation : a step towards "contrast color range" ?
The Mobius transformation is interesting. Could it be useful to let the user manage separately the effect on hue, intensity and saturation? For example, Nik Collection's effect "contrast color range" would be very welcome as a built-in transformation in PWP. Perhaps "contrast color ra...

Re: Feature request: User-defined control panel for script snippet
This feature, if developed, would enable users to create complex filters and their associated control panels. For example, similar to Nik collection's Color Efex Contrast color range, with sliders for : Color, color contrast, luminosity, contrast Reflector Efex, with sliders for : Light intensity, T...
