B&W
Are there any tips about how to accomplish a pleasing black and white conversion with PWP? I often think digital B&W looks pretty dull, especially my own tries. I'm aware of the plugins for different programs, but apart from not having the programs in question I'd like to figure out how do to it...

Strange things happen to EXIF
I'm still using PWP 7. I know PWP strips out most EXIF tags but at least leave some in, as for example camera and date. All of a sudden some JPGs get all tags stripped. The only thing there is this. Filename - xxx.jpg Software - Picture Window Pro 64 v7.0.20 Can something I do cause this? It's hard ...

Lazlo effect - den?
More than 10 years ago we had some threads about accomplishing what was then called the Lazlo effect with PWP. Mostly used for sort of harsh looking portraits. Think old coal miner with wrinkles an black pores in need of a shave. The Lazlo effect accentuated that look. I found some old photos, not a...

Re: Dehaze explained
What does dehaze do in practice, in not so technical terms? From the look of it it increases contrast and saturation. Is that it or is it more to it? I just discovered this feature in darktable and now I realize it's also in the new PWP. It seems it can sort of work as a shortcut to enhance a photo ...

Re: Sharpening radius
Thank you. So if I understand you right, it isn't possible to translate LR instructions to PWP, just general directions. I think one of my main problem with USM is I hadn't understood the importance of the amount slider. And I'm stuck in film. It was so much easier to see when the grain was sharp an...

Sharpening radius
I'm trying to improve myself. First step is to get back to the level, albeit low, I was at 15 years ago when I fell off the photography wagon. As we all know, basically all tutorials and guides on the net relate to some incarnation of Adobe software, so hard to follow. To be able to follow those gui...

FWIW I didn't get any of that. Also Win10.
