Re: Switch to Mac
I apologize for such a late reply. Life has been (good) hectic, so I have only recently returned to these matters. "In a previous post Isaac wrote "I found the monitor/working space profiles that are downloaded with PWPro, placed them in the correct Windows folders, and the program now rec...

Re: Switch to Mac
Jonathan,
Just tried it with a color file and color management enabled. Didn't work.
What might work is to change the profile as your last step before printing.
Will see if the print will reflect the change of profile.

Re: Switch to Mac
Well, I am making some progress. On my PC, one entered the paper profile in the final dialog box before printing. Now, on my iMac, the final dialog offers no such opportunity. I am not certain yet about placing, say, a 6x9 photo on an 8.5x11 paper (I may have to create a border --- which I did not i...

Re: Switch to Mac
Well, mini-progress. I found the monitor/working space profiles that are downloaded with PWPro, placed them in the correct Windows folders, and the program now recognizes them. But none of the other monitor profiles. As to the printing profiles, the dialog box does not offer a choice of paper, just ...

Re: Switch to Mac
Dieter, Thanks for all your trouble. There must be something to one of the facts that I am using OS X Mountain Lion, and/or I have a single-click mouse. I enabled the double(secondary)-click, but that does not raise anything. I found, after quite awhile, the wine/windows directories /system32/spool....

Re: Switch to Mac
Hmmmm ... still a problem. I put paper profiles in the "usual" place; but the dialog box for printing does not allow picking one of those. Also, I found the monitor profile in the iMac display/color dialog, but have no way to copy it to the "usual" folder. Any ideas, anyone? Isaac

Switch to Mac
I am a long time user of PWPro, from 3/3.5 days, for the PC. Just switched to the IMac (OS X Lion), downloaded the ProPro 6 embedded in Wine. My current questions are: 1. I cannot raise my monitor profile in the File>Color Management dialog. How do I do this? 2. Where would I put a soft-proofing pro...
