Sony ARW files - unsupported tiff compression
Hello Jonathan, Thank you for including me in the alpha fo pwp8. I cannot open any sony ARW files taken with either A7R, A7RII (those are all that I have). The messages are: 1. Error popup "Unsupported tiff compression (must be uncompressed or LZW)". I hit OK 2. Error popup "Error rea...

Re: All Good Things Come to an End
Hello Jonathan, Kiril and fellow forum members. I am also saddened and also not surprised by the announcement. We seem to be in a phase in the technology industry of decreasing biodiversity with the remainders exhibiting characteristics of hubris and a loss of the craft of software engineering. PWP ...

Re: Photo organizing technique or software?
+1 for imatch.
Originally had imatch then lightroom and found the performance unacceptable (memory footprint, cpu/thread utilisation), then photoshop and bridge.
Now I'm back to iMatch (and PWP as a replacement for photoshop) - that journey cost me a lot!
May your journey be simpler and cheaper.

I understand the implications of running a batch and then posting the output to the workspace. What I am trying to do is use the workflow to produce...

Re: Workflow, Automation and Actions
Hi Kiril, Thank you for the reply. That's gotten me to the point of being able to create 'actions'. Is there any way to return the output to the workspace? The Rename/File Save terminal widget provides for displaying in the workflow window -that's nice because I can drag the result into the workspac...

Workflow, Automation and Actions
Hi, I've been struggling with my understanding of workflow in PWP. As I read the documentation, it appears to be basically for application of a standard process (with the option of breakpoints) to multiple images. I also see some aspects which look tantalisingly like the PWP equivalent of Photoshop ...
