Re: Need help recreating a frame in PWP
OK_20130623_8622-final-Title[7].jpg Title Slide Frame.zip I am not sure if I fully understand. what Kiril did is very similar to what I had in mind, only his version works, mine did not. :-) The posted workflow above starts from a full size image, but in aspect ratio 4x3, has a break point to set t...

Need help recreating a frame in PWP
I am trying to recreate title slide frames I am using or a while and really like. I was sure I could create these also in PWP and as a workflow, but am having a hard time. See here what I am trying to recreate: here is a process that recreates what my discontinued previous software did via template:...

Re: Slow Advanced Sharpen Transform
Thanks for the quick reply. I am actually very happy with how this transform works. I just got about 1000 scans of old slides my parents found in the attic and they all seem have a slight dusting of small round mold spots. I worked out setting that allow me to simply open the next image and hit OK. ...

Slow Advanced Sharpen Transform
Ever since I switched to PWP64 v6 I am wondering why the Advanced Sharpen transform is so slow. Everything else is really fast. But for some reason to process one image usually takes between 2 and 3 minutes even for a scan of <8 megapixel. Are there some settings on my PC I can change to improve tha...

Re: Default Composition Guide
Thanks Kiril, Den & Dieter, Den & Dieter had done both of your suggestions before, I just remember that in v4 the last selection stayed active within one PWP session. And I find it repeatedly quite annoying not to have that anymore. It seems to be easy for me to ignore a composition guide th...

Default Composition Guide
I know this worked in v4, but I never got around asking how to do this in v5: when I select a composition guide, the selection is not permanent, even within one session. Now in v5 I hoped the 'Save As Default' option would do it, but it does not safe the Composition Guide either. Is there a way to k...

Slow Advanced Sharpen
I have finally upgraded to a Quadcore processor and Win7-64bit. everything works fast and like a charm, except I noticed with the advanced sharpen transform, when I change to the sharpen tab, the progressbar gets stuck and it takes quite a while until PWP comes back with the finished transform. (It ...

Re: Save dialog default file name
Kiril, thanks for the almost immediate answer! Don't get me wrong, the workflows are a great thing that I use constantly. Also the new feature of saving workflows off the history tree is great. A bare-bones overwriting save command would be very useful though. What differences are remaining between ...

Save dialog default file name
In version 4 when I "Save"ed an image that was Untitled, the dialog behaved as "Save as" and prompted with the original "Filename". In version 5 the behavior is almost the same but it prompts with "Filename-1". As I only use the Save dialog when I want to over...
