Thanks, I tried the Windows Memory Diagnostic with both the standard and extended tests; no errors were found.
I'll look for some other diagnostics and see if I can pin it down.

PWP intermittent BSOD on transformation close
I'm using PWP 8.0.321 on Windows 10 Home 21H2. For the past couple of weeks I've been getting the dreaded Windows BSOD occasionally, about once per PWP session, with Stop code "System thread exception not handled" from Ntfs.sys. This happens intermittently when I close some transformation,...

Program crash with resize
Using Picture Window Pro 8.0.103
Resizing an image width from say 3000 pixels to 2400. If I just type the "2" of the 2400 and wait too long to type the rest, it starts calculating the new image with a width of 2 pixels apparently and crashes, see attachments (using two monitors).

High CPU usage when minimized
At the moment using PWP 8.0.87. I've been noticing this off and on over the past several weeks and I think I've finally tracked it down. When Picture WIndow Pro 8 is minimized, it consumes around 15-20% of the CPU (see attached screen shot). There are no transformations in progress, it should be idli...

Re: Please allow periods in saved file names
Thanks, Jonathan - sorry if I'm trying this while you're still working on it. My 8.0.56 told me there's a new version 8.0.58, but the website has 8.0.57 as the latest at this very moment, and the update log only goes up to 8.0.56. I downloaded and installed 8.0.57 and check for update still tells me...

Please allow periods in saved file names
When working with images from my phone, I can open them with names like "2016-12-13 11.30.47.jpg" into Picture Window Pro v 8.0.56. But when I try to save a modified image as "2016-12-13 11.30.47 v1.jpg", which is what Picture Window itself generates for the new file name, it com...

Preferences: Initial Dialog Position not saved
After a clean re-install of Windows 10, I installed Picture Window Pro 8.0.36. I edited the Preferences for the Initial Dialog Position from Lower Left to Bottom Right 2nd Monitor, and on exit I answered Yes to "Save modfied preferences for nest session?" It worked fine during the current ...

Re: Resize - illegal second input value error
Thanks. I didn't set that dpi value to 0, it's the way the resize transformation appeared when opening it for that image. So it must have had a problem with something in the image file?
