I am trying to send jpegs to a site that requires them in square format resized to 1920x1920 with non-picture areas in black, . They want this so that all images, whether portrait or landscape, will have the same overall square appearance. I am trying to figure out a PW method to do this. I can't make the composite transformation work. I am sure there must be an easy way, but I can't find one? Any ideas?

Just go to Transformation-Geometry-Crop/Add Border. You can than pick black as the color and add the width of border you need to the top/bottom/sides. You can even have a wider border at the bottom than you do on the top.

Thanks. I thought I had tried to do that, but I must have done something wrong. It works fine.

Also, pardon me for posting this in the "tips" area rather than in the "support" area.
