Can't kill precise gaussian blur

After starting Precise Gaussian that is projected to take 15 minutes, depressing Shift and Alt for two minuites did not terminate Precise Gaussian. While Precise Guassian was running, I could do nothing else on my computer. This was with PWP 8.0.533. Some time ago I mentioned this issue, and I thought it was fixed and that I had uploaded the fixed version of PjWP, if not, sorry for a useless post.

The abort keys are Ctrl+Alt, not Shift+Alt.
