Make up a test image by painting the primaries and complements (R,G,B,C,M,Y). I changed red using remap (default sliders) by selecting a target diagonally down toward blue a moderate distance from the white corner. Use readout to test the result colors and (except for a small creep) only red is changed. Open up the Chroma/Brightness sliders quite a ways and except for a slight additional creep, still only red is changed. Set the radii back to defaults. Relax tightness and all the colors change, so I don't have to set six color pairs to propogate the change to all the colors.

Couldn't really follow JML's last post, so apologies if it is somehow an answer to the following.

Color Correction has a Load function so one can quickly load previously saved settings, such as Elie Dinur's Velvia, or one of Den's color transforms.

Has anybody found a similarly quick way to load previously-set-up-color-pairs into Color Remap?

I did think of using Workflow but Color Remap does not appear to be available as a Workflow operation.

(1) re: Loading Remap ColorPairs pre-sets: the only way currently seems to be the use of 'swatch' images and the Probes of the 'Color n' and 'Remapped Color n' dialogues as suggested in MikeG's OP link:

(2) re: Test Image: attached is a test image of the HS color hexagon at a HSV-V = 50% gray [mid-tone] on a 50% gray background that can be used to test for Chroma Radius and Tightness. As the Brightness Radius control takes effect at an 'angle' to the HS plane at the 50% tone of this test image, it will have no effect when varied, but Chroma Radius and Tightness will. One might also use the standard MacBeth chart as a test image as well... as this will show changes of V as well as H and S. Note that unless the R,G,B,C,Y,M hues are balanced, grays, V, will take on a color cast. Also note the change in tone, V, with balanced hues as Tightness is varied.
